Verklighetsbakgrund[ ]

Enligt en obekräftad historia baseras låten på då Errols styvfar fick huvudet avhugget av bilrutan då han förlorade kontrollen över sin bil i en kurva mellan Tingsryd och Rävemåla, utanför Konga.

Text[ ]

We told him to stay but he just wouldn't listen
And though he was drunk he drove away
We knew he was mad over things that we said
Though we never ment to hurt him anyway

And we saw him, we heard
As he entered the curve and we started to scream "Oh, no!"
"Oh, no!"

Dead mans curve, it's the curve that deadly bends
Dead mans curve, was the curve that killed my friend
Dead mans curve, still I hear that engine roar
And I won't forget the dead mans curve for ever more
No, I won't forget the dead mans curve for ever more

I was almost insane from the sorrow and pain
As we dragged him from the wreck and he was dead
And no wonder I cried cause the reason he died was all the awful hurting things we said

Still I wake up at night
Screaming out with fright don't go away, don't go
Oh, no!

Dead mans curve, it's the curve that deadly bends
Dead mans curve, was the curve that killed my friend
Dead mans curve, still I hear that engine roar
And I won't forget the dead mans curve for ever more
No, I won't forget the dead mans curve for ever more

(SOLO)

Dead mans curve, it's the curve that deadly bends
Dead mans curve, was the curve that killed my friend
Dead mans curve, still I hear that engine roar
And I won't forget the dead mans curve for ever more
No, I won't forget the dead mans curve for ever more
